RESIDENT PASTOR: Pst. Paul Ogbonna

Pastor Paul was born into the family of Chief Clemente U Ogbonna in Mbaise Imo State, Nigeria. He had his primary education at Obizi Central School and secondary education at Community Secondary School which he later completed at Obizi High School Obizi Mbaise in 1986. Based on the result in the school certificate exam, he was offered employment with the West African Exams Council (WAEC) at the Owerri Zonal office as a Clerical Officer final accounts and reconciliation.

Pastor Paul left for higher institution in old Imo State University now Abia State University in 1990 where he bagged a B.Sc. Degree in Accountancy. He visited many schools in Nigeria during WAEC Examinations as a flying invigilator, investigated and reconciled many WAEC accounting books at Calabar, Uyo, Umuahia and Port-Harcourt in Nigeria. He voluntarily resigned from WAEC services as an Examination Officer in 2002.

Pastor Paul was a dynamic human right/union activist during his 14 years career in WAEC. Due to his knowledge in final accounts and reconciliations, he was nominated as a contestant in the NASU general elecgtion held in Owerri zonal office in 1999. He won the elction and became the NASU Owerri Zonal Finance Office comprising of Calabar, Uyo, Port-Harcourt, and Umuahia 1999-2001. He was member of Assets Disposal Committee in 1994-1996 and a Financial Officer WAEC Owerri Multipurpose Cooperative Society an established financial Organization that offers loans to the WAEC community. He received so many recommendation for prudent financial management. Pastor was doing his Masters' degree programme at the Imo State University the same year he left Nigeria to join his wife Mrs. Nnenna in Canada.

Pastor Paul arrived in Canada in December 2008 where he completed a diploma certificate Program in Marshal Arts, the use of safe force, Use of fire arms long and short range targets, and hunting licenced to use, possess and acquire fire arms.

PASTORAL ASSIGNMENT

Pastor Paul was born into a Catholic Christian home. He was to become a Catholic Priest. At the age of eleven (11) he had a dream where he saw Jesus Christ on His Judgement throne judging the world and when it got to this turn to be judged he was asked to go back He gave his life to Jesus Christ during his days in the Secondary school and became a member of the Scripture Union. His journey to South Africa and services under Reverend Francis Anosike was a blessing to his pastoral career. The anointing and laying of hands by his mentor and spiritual father ignited his spiritual life.

As Apostle Paul was in the life of Timothy's ministry (1 Timothy 4:14) so is Reverend Francis Anosike in the life of Pastor Paul's Ministry.

Pastor Paul is currently pursuing some courses in Theology and Church Administration to support his Pastoral career. He is dearly loved by his congregation due to his love for Christ, concern for souls and his humble nature.

Pastor Paul is happily married to Mrs. Nnenna Ogbonna and they are blessed with twin miracle boys: Joshua and Caleb.
